ABOUT PREMIER
Premier Constructions Australia (Premier) started in 2015 by Managing Director, Seamus McHugh.
The business started as a 'one-man office', and a small team of skilled labourers operating in regional New South Wales to build one of Australia's largest solar farms at the time of construction. Premier quickly became a reputable construction partner to deliver solar farm and wind farm projects all across Australia.
Premier now services both the public and private sectors in civil infrastructure, mining, defence and high-rise residential and commercial development construction projects.

"When I started Premier Constructions Australia in 2015, it was just me and a small team of skilled labourers working in regional New South Wales.
I wasn’t chasing titles or rapid growth — I simply wanted to do the work properly, earn trust on site, and build something meaningful with the people around me.
The journey has had its challenges, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding. Every tough decision and moment of uncertainty, including lessons learned the hard way, brought clarity, resilience, and growth. Those experiences shaped not only the business, but the leader I’ve become.
Through it all, one thing has remained clear: people come first. Being a Director, to me, means creating opportunities, supporting development, and most importantly, building a culture where people feel confident, valued, and proud of the work they do.
Today, Premier delivers projects across Australia, connecting cities, regional communities, and remote locations through meaningful construction work. What I’m most proud of isn’t just how far we’ve come, but the strength of the team, the trust we’ve built, and the journey we continue to share."
